On December 8, 2026, a special retrospective entitled "Eleonora d'Arborea... Emblem of Women's Emancipation" will be presented in Oristano, dedicated to the figure of the famous Oristano judge, a symbol of justice and freedom.
During the event, the documentary film "Eleonora d'Arborea: Queen, Warrior, Stateswoman, and Legislator of Europe," produced by COLIFFE, will be screened. It will be followed by a discussion with Professor Antonietta Motzo, a scholar of Sardinian history and culture.
The initiative, dedicated to cinema as a tool for memory and identity, aims to promote the dialogue between art and history, highlighting the figure of Eleonora d'Arborea as an emblem of emancipation, culture, and Sardinian pride.
